Adjacent to the Otello restaurant (which is very good!) you enter a beautiful valley of lush green contrasted with the famous volcanic lanscape of Tenerife. You will meander through a marked trail, some of which is within a deep ravine that sometimes grows quite dark and cool. You will find a multitude of wildlife so look out for baby frogs, and falcons and kestrels in the sky.

After the hour / hour and a half walk you will reach a small natural waterfall, which can be a welcome sight especially if you are walking in the afternoon sun! Many visitors take a picnic and enjoy a break by the waterfall before the walk back.

It is worth noting that the Barranco del Infierno is currently closed for maintenance but is due to reopen within the next month or so. We recomend you check their website to check before you go......http://www.barrancodelinfierno.es/
